Dyslexia Therapy

Personalized dyslexia evaluation and therapy to strengthen symbol imagery,
reading fluency, and spelling pattern recall.

Our Dyslexia Therapy program empowers children to build confidence and lasting literacy skills through individualized, evidence-based interventions. Our highly trained and experienced educators and speech-language pathologists specialize in identifying and treating the underlying language and symbol imagery weaknesses that affect reading and spelling success.

Comprehensive Dyslexia Evaluation

Each dyslexia evaluation is completed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist over two appointments, each lasting two hours. Using standardized oral language, written language, reading, and spelling assessments recognized by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), we identify your child’s strengths and areas for growth.

Understanding Your Child’s Profile

Dyslexia is a language-based disorder that impacts the ability to understand, use, and recall phonetic and non-phonetic (sight) words. We assess whether your child demonstrates characteristics of dysphonetic (auditory) dyslexia, dyseidetic (visual) dyslexia, or mixed dyslexia, allowing us to design a plan tailored to their unique learning profile.

Individualized Treatment Planning

We identify the specific spelling patterns, sound-symbol connections, and word recall skills that need strengthening. This approach allows us to create a highly individualized plan that targets the root causes of reading and spelling difficulties for meaningful, measurable progress.

Weekly Therapy

After the evaluation, families may choose to begin weekly speech therapy sessions with our skilled speech-language pathologists. Therapy focuses on improving symbol imagery recall, reading fluency, and spelling accuracy through a multisensory, language-based approach that is both engaging and research-supported.

Parent Education and Support

We believe parents are vital partners in their child’s progress.
Our team provides practical home strategies—including word manipulation, visualization, and recall activities—to reinforce therapy concepts and build confidence between sessions.

A Positive Learning Experience

Our sessions are designed to be interactive, motivating, and tailored to each child’s learning style. We integrate fun, movement, and sensory-based activities into each lesson, helping children develop stronger literacy skills in a supportive, confidence-building environment.
