    About Meghan

With more than 20 years of experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, Meghan specializes in working with children and adults facing a variety of speech and language disorders. She has extensive experience helping nonverbal and minimally verbal individuals develop communication skills, including those diagnosed with Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, and Developmental Delays.

Meghan integrates proven therapy methods such as Nacy Kaufman’s Apraxia Therapy, Linda Mood Bell’s "LPs, Seeing Stars," and Multi-Sensory Language Development to support verbal speech development while fostering strong phonetic foundations for early reading and spelling.

She also incorporates Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies, including low-tech tools like letter tiles and communication boards and high-tech solutions like text-to-speech devices and dynamic display voice output systems. These tools serve as a bridge to verbal communication or as a primary means of expression when needed.
